Check compatibility before ordering

For suitable gas fires, trouser presses and storage heaters with a matching control shaft and knob arrangement. Universal does not mean suitable for every appliance.

Compare the shaft shape, dimensions, engagement depth and surrounding clearance with your existing knob. Confirm that the replacement matches the appliance's control positions and can operate correctly without forcing the fitting.

If you need help checking suitability, contact Union Spares with your appliance model and existing knob details before ordering.

Important fitting guidance

Follow the appliance manufacturer's instructions. This is a replacement control knob, not a gas valve or internal control component. If correct fit or operation is uncertain, do not use the appliance until suitability has been checked by an appropriately qualified technician.
